Edit pocket
After creating your Money pocket you can add a picture or name it. To do it you need to click "Settings" in your Money pocket and make the necessary changes.
Top up & transfer money
To start using your Money pocket you have to top it up by transferring money via IBAN or requesting money from another Vivid user. You can find the requisites to transfer money in and out of your Euro account in the "Settings" section of your Money pocket. The transaction requisites of your main Euro account (of your first pocket) can be found in your profile section.
If you already have money in your Vivid account, you can move it between pockets by clicking "Transfer" inside the Money pocket or using the drag-n-drop function on the home screen.
Link a card
You can link your virtual or physical card to the Money pocket and pay by that. Please note: that card will be linked to the whole pocket, not for a special currency. You can link your card to the other pocket in 1 click.
If you then make a purchase with that card, at first we will try to charge money from the pocket with the currency equal to the currency of the operation and if you don’t have a sufficient amount of such in the current pocket, we will try to charge your Euro account (main pocket). If the funds are not sufficient on that one either, the authorization will be declined.
When you made a purchase in a non-Euro currency and get a refund, this will also happen in the currency of the original purchase.
Add and exchange currencies
You can add several currencies to your Money pocket. For Prime plan clients, there are 105 currencies available for Standard plan clients we offer 40 currencies to choose from.
When you buy or sell currencies in the app, the Live exchange rate is automatically applied.
In some events (e.g. when the currency markets are closed) we add a small mark-up fee. This will depend on the specific currency. But in any case, our exchange rate is typically one of the very best rates available.
Share the pocket
You could share your pocket with other Vivid users and invite them to save and spend together.
To do that you simply tap the "Give access" button in your Money pocket and select the person you want to invite.
