From now on, our new Spanish customers will have a Spanish account. That’s right, your IBAN will consist of 24 characters. The 2-letter country code ES and 22 digits as opposed to the 22-character German IBAN we were previously offering.

Did you open your Vivid Money account prior to 17th March 2022?

If so, your IBAN is German and all the new Pockets you create will have a German IBAN as well. At least for now. We’re working hard to offer the Spanish IBAN to our existing customers.

We also want you to be aware that, if you decide to close your account with the intention of reopening it to get a Spanish IBAN, this won't be possible due to technical limitations.

Therefore, we kindly ask you for your patience as we strive to make this option available to all our customers. We’ll keep you posted!

Are there any changes to the existing Terms and Conditions?

Yes, new Terms and Conditions for all our Spanish residents will come into effect on the 22nd March 2022. No action is required from your side to accept the changes. The changes are not disadvantageous for customers and have no effect relating to fees. Most of the changes in the updated T&Cs are minor legal adjustments as Vivid Services in Spain will be subject to Spanish law. If you do not agree to the changes, you can close your account prior to the change becoming effective.
